Kothari Designs launched during the 1970’s by Taru Kothari, an Indian native with a passion for distinctive antique jewelry. Due to her keen eye for design and careful attention to detail, Taru gained a fast following and her business rapidly expanded to an international clientele. Taru joined forces with her son Tej in 1995; his love for modern design brought a new perspective to the adapting collection. The flourishing partnership between mother and son brought the Kothari family to northern California, a place where the artists found an endless source of inspiration for their work. The Kothari line now consists of their classic gold, gemstone, and diamond pieces complemented beautifully by their inlaid-diamond collection, which has garnered international recognition. Focused on beauty, balance, and wearability, Kothari continues to modernize the jewelry industry through meticulous craftsmanship and innovation.
