Denise Betesh began creating jewelry as a teenager in Brooklyn, New York, where she designed wedding bands and macramé as a hobby. Her work was seen by Cartier jeweler Aldo Cippallo, and he immediately commissioned Denise work and truly encouraged her to pursue a life in jewelry. After studying ancient techniques at the Boston Museum of Arts, Denise attended the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York where she specialized in granulation and chain-making. Now, Denise uses matte 22k gold and granulation to lend a warm, antique quality to her pieces. With natural design elements and extraordinary gems, Denise creates “heirlooms to be worn every day.” Traditional yet innovative, Denise now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where natural beauty lends a hand to the endless, exceptional designs that encompass her collections.
